As the development of the PCI specifications advanced over the years, so have the Meritec PCI Connectors. The Meritec Right Angle PCI Express (PCIe) Connector product family now includes the X1 (36 position) and X4 (64 position) connectors in addition to the X8 (98 position) and X16 (164 position) connectors. Designed to solve space problems in applications where low clearance above the PCB prohibits the use of vertical configurations, Meritec’s right angle PCIe connector footprints are identical to the vertical mount footprints for joint compatibility in the PCB design.

The Meritec right angle PCIe connectors meet PCI Express specification 1.1 local bus standards; accept card mounting heights from 5.84mm to 16.68mm, compatible with .062” to .093” thick mother boards and accepts .062" thick daughter cards. These robust PCIe connectors are available in 3 stack heights and 3 tail lengths in each size. The Meritec right angle PCIe connector product family is RoHS compliant.
