Contact Pins

A P Products contact pins on carrier strips have pyramid-form tips with smooth transistions. A special separation process for the tips allows uniformity and low tool costs. The tips can be easily processed by automatic insertion machines. All pins are available in a variety of platings, loose pins or on bandolier, or endless pins. Please talk to us about your needs for pins. 

Minimums depend on used materials. Standard pin quantities start as low as 1000 pcs .

CHARACTERISTICS:

• Pyramid-form tips with low tolerance
• Special separation process yields high uniformity of the tips
• Suitable for high-speed mechanical insertion of connector components and printed boards
• Using carrier strips allows the pins to be easily subjected to additional processing
• Allows access to both ends for finishing or polishing
• Symmetrical star available for improved hold in plastic
• Wound on coils prevents pins from bending
• Pins are made of F18 nickel-silver (CuNi18Zn20) in length from 8 mm to 80 mm
• Carrier strip is made of brass
• Pins are square at 0,635 mm width (0,025 in)
